  • EMI Shielding Braided Layer by Intertwining Bare or Tinned Copper Wires

EMI Shielding Braided Layer by Intertwining Bare or Tinned Copper Wires

Environments where many electrical/electronic devices are working at the same time may create problems due to irradiation of electrical noise or due to electromagnetic interference (EMI). The electrical noise can seriously influence the correct function of all equipment.

  • Aramid Fiber sleeve with High Strength and Excellent Heat/Flame Resistance

Aramid Fiber sleeve with High Strength and Excellent Heat/Flame Resistance

NOMEX® and KEVLAR® are aromatic polyamides or aramids developed by DuPont. The term aramid derives from the word aromatic and amide (aromatic + amide), which is a polymer with many amide bonds repeating in the polymer chain. Therefore, it is categorized within the polyamide group.

It has at least 85% of its amide bonds attached with aromatic rings. There are two main types of aramids, categorized as meta-aramid, and para-aramid and each of these two groups have different properties relating to their structures.

  • Basflex Formed by Intertwining Multiple Fibers Made of Basalt Filaments

Basflex Formed by Intertwining Multiple Fibers Made of Basalt Filaments

BASFLEX is a product formed by intertwining multiple fibers made of basalt filaments. The yarns are drawn from the melt of basalt stones and possesses high elastic modulus, outstanding chemicals and thermal/heat resistance. Additionally, the basalt fibers have very low humidity absorption compared to glass fibers.

The Basflex braid has excellent heat and flame resistance. It is non flammable, have no dripping behavior, and have no or very low smoke development.

Compared to braids made of fiberglass, the Basflex have higher tensile modulus and higher impact resistance. When immersed in alkaline medium, the basalt fibers have 10-fold better weight loss performances compared with fiberglass.

  • Glassflex with High Modulus Characteristic and High Temperature Resistance

Glassflex with High Modulus Characteristic and High Temperature Resistance

Glass fibers are man made filaments originated from components found in nature. The major element contained in fiberglass yarns is the Silicon Dioxiode (SiO2), which confers the high modulus characteristic and high temperature resistance. Indeed, fiberglass are not only having high strength compared to other polymers but also an outstanding thermal insulator material. It can withstand continuous temperature exposure more than 300℃. If it undergoes to post-process treatments, the temperature resistance can be further increased up to 600 ℃.

  • Spando-NTT Representing a Series of Wear-Resistant Sleeves

    Spando-NTT Representing a Series of Wear-Resistant Sleeves

Spando-NTT® represents an extensive range of abrasion resistant sleeves designed to prolong lifetime of wire/cables harnesses used in the automotive, industrial, rail and aerospace markets. Each single product has its own specific purpose; whether lightweight, protective against crush, chemically resistant, mechanically robust, flexible, easily fitted or thermally insulating.

  • SPANDOFLEX Protective sleeve self-closing wire protection sleeve PET cable sleeve

SPANDOFLEX Protective sleeve self-closing wire protection sleeve PET cable sleeve

SPANDOFLEX SC is a self closing protective sleeve made with a combination of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) monofilaments and multifilaments. The self-closing concept allows the sleeve to be installed easily onto pre-terminated wires or tubes, thus allowing installation at the end of the whole assembly process. The sleeve offers also very easy maintenance or inspection by just opening the wraparound.

  • Glasflex fiberglass sleeve high temperature resistance hose protection expandable and flexible sleeve

Glasflex fiberglass sleeve high temperature resistance hose protection expandable and flexible sleeve

Glasflex is formed by intertwining multiple glass fiber with a specific braiding angle through circular braiders. Such formed seamless textile and can be expanded to fit on a wide range of hoses. Depending on the braiding angle (generally between 30 ° and 60 °) , the material density and the numbers of yarns different constructions can be obtained.

  • Forteflex for Driving Safety Assurance

    Forteflex for Driving Safety Assurance

A dedicated product range developed to face the emerging demand of hybrid and electrical vehicles, especially for the protection of high voltage cables and critical fluid transfer tubes against unexpected crash. The tight textile construction produced on specifically engineered machines allows higher protection grade, thus granting safety to the driver and passengers. In case of unexpected crash, the sleeve absorbs most of the energy generated by the collision and protects the cables or tubes being teared apart. It is indeed of vital importance that electricity are continuously supplied even after vehicle impact to keep the basic functionalities, to allow the passengers to leave safely the car compartment.
